Instructions  (bigger)
The Jet Lag Eliminator is composed
of two discs. The bottom disc lists the major cities around the world and
their respective time zones. The top (clear) disc provides a 24-hour clock
divided into two hour intervals and corresponding letters (A-L) that refer to
pressure points on the body that are to be stimulated to relieve the effects of
jet lag. Details are found on the reverse side of the disc and in the Jet
Lag Eliminator booklet.
AS
YOU BEGIN YOUR FLIGHT 1) Align your city of departure
found on the outer rim of the Jet Lag Eliminator with the
actual time of departure ( or DST - Daylight Savings Time), found on the top (clear)
disc, with the line on the base disc that points to to your departure city. If
the time falls exactly upon an hour that is between the stimulation point letters,
wait ten minutes. The disc, thus aligned, will show the correct time at your departure
city, your destination city, and every city around the world. (If your destination
city is not listed on the disc, use a city in the same time zone that is printed
on the disc. You may also refer to the section in the booklet on Major Cities
by Time Zone). 2) The alignment
from Step 1 also indicates the points on the body to be stimulated (referenced
by the letters A - L ) that correspond with your departure and destination cities.
The lettered points correspond with pressure points on your body that are
illustrated on the back of the Jet Lag Eliminator and in the instruction
manual. Stimulate the points corresponding to the departure city on both sides
of your body by massaging each gently for approximately two minutes ( a total
of four points ). 3) Massage
the entire surface (inside and out ) of both ears for approximately two minutes,
after stimulating the four points from Step #2 EVERY
TWO HOURS OF YOUR FLIGHT: 4) Repeat steps 1
and 2. This requires advancing the clock disc (top disc ) so that the actual time
or DST ( Daylight Savings Time ) is aligned with your departure city.
AS YOUR FLIGHT BEGINS TO DESCEND:
5) Massage the entire surface (inside and outside ) of both ears for
approximately two minutes ONCE
YOU HAVE ARRIVED: 6) Align the actual time (your
new time ) or DST (Daylight Savings Time) upon arrival on the top disc with the
line pointing to your destination city on the base disc. Stimulate only the destination
city points on both sides of your body ( two points ) and massage both ears for
approximately two minutes each. Do not include departure city points. Repeat this
step every hour for at least the same number of hours that you have traveled,
or until you no longer feel the effects of jet lag. If you sleep before this step
is complete, simply continue after awakening. NOTE:
Use any layover stop as destination and, as your trip continues, start
again with Step 1. DAYLIGHT
SAVINGS TIME: Set clocks one hour ahead at 2:00am on the
first Sunday in April to provide more sunlight in the evening. The time is
set back one hour at 2:00am on the last Sunday in October.
